About Us

The West and Southwest abound with creativity, uniqueness, spirit, and craftsmanship in how people live, what they do, and the things that define their homes and daily lifestyle. With thousands of miles to explore in this part of the country we found ourselves taking less traveled roads that led us to places and people whose craft and vocation embody what the West and Southwest represent. The landscape is dotted with artisans who show and sell their works in roadside studios, galleries, or from the back of a pick-up truck. But finding their unique works is only part of the story, meeting these artisans in person provides another story about their lives, how they came to do what they do, and what their work represents, which is equally as gratifying as discovering their works.

Roadside Finds is constantly traveling to new places, which in many cases are actually old communities with roots that go back to before our country as we know it today. We're not interested in mass produced items or items that follow popular trends. At Roadside Finds you will find items that are handcrafted and show a uniqueness from each other. Many of the items we sell are one of kind or in limited quantities that vary in character and uniqueness and offer thoughtful and intriguing combinations of color, texture, whimsy and history. Be sure and check back often for new 'finds.'
